Few and far in between.
So sadly, I completely gave up on this yearly challenge thing. Obviously after about 3 months last year my posts became sporadic and lackluster. So...I can't craft every day. Oh well!

HOWEVER, I can craft for a month straight. Which I plan on doing again. But I'm taking it to my other blog, http://dottedwitharts.blogspot.com/

Please follow me on there as I plan on posting again on that page. Hopefully I'll stick to it!Dotted With Artshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08861752966835166377noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3676983683293315485.post-24187981723457741682011-07-12T15:51:00.000-07:002011-07-12T15:55:22.694-07:00Day.....who knows?
So obviously I suck at doing projects every day. The top I had made to attach to the bottoms was too short, so I had to make a center piece to fit it all together. After that I did all the hems, the neckline thing, and cleaned everything up. All that is left to add is buttons and straps. So I will definitely be done if I work on this tomorrow! I have to get innovative with fabric because I ran out of the type I needed hah. Soo anyway I just tied a bandana around the tummy (I'm thinking I need to get some of this fabric for the actual belt!!!) and it looks fabulous. I should finish it tomorrow. I have no clue how I am going to attach this all together considering the fabric needs to be longer around the torso so one can sit down...hmmmDotted With Artshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08861752966835166377noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3676983683293315485.post-7792170301679304232011-06-27T20:08:00.000-07:002011-06-27T20:15:31.040-07:00Day 84. If you do a google search you can easily find what they are. Basically it's a top connected to some shorts. I started on the shorts today and i must say I'm quite proud of myself and already falling in love with what I'm making! And look, it's even got flower print! Yay old 90s material :) So this is the bottom half and tomorrow I will start the top.Dotted With Artshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08861752966835166377noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3676983683293315485.post-36215130166534053772011-06-20T19:55:00.000-07:002011-06-28T17:19:11.975-07:00Day 83...WIP vest
So I started on this vest, merrily going along. Last year this band was brought to my attention by a friend who basically worships them. I had to know what the hype was about. Unbeknown to them, I absolutely fell in love after listening to some songs. They now have a lovely place in my ipod. Their own little den. Anyway I saw this shirt on clearance a few weeks ago and figured I might as well. I love to reconstruct band shirts. I didn't snap a picture of them in their hayday, but at the beginning of spring I took this picture. But more than a couple months has passed since the last time I updated this blog. It's not that I haven't been crafting, they just haven't been flower themed for the most part or involve flowers in any way.

I will update you on all the craftiful things I did involving flowers. They will of course be in completely random order, but it's the thought that counts, right?

I am going to try to continue the daily blog thing and try to catch up a bit (though I won't get my 365 by January 1), however things are going to change around here. I'm sure anyone who starts looking at this blog again won't mind. I am completely burnt out on flowers. There are only so many flowery doodads you can make in a week. So I will try to do at least one flowery project a week. If I even get to craft every week. At the moment I'm pretty free most days of the week so I will try...oh gosh I will try.

So basically...I am no longer sticking to my theme.Dotted With Artshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08861752966835166377noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3676983683293315485.post-19056312038815173262011-03-23T15:53:00.000-07:002011-03-23T15:57:32.323-07:00Day 76, wire
I made this abstracty wire flower....I like it, though not really sure that anyone else can see what it is :PDotted With Artshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08861752966835166377noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3676983683293315485.post-8116413854355234602011-03-22T18:44:00.000-07:002011-03-23T16:02:15.656-07:00Day 75
Sorry I suck at keeping up. Meaning they'll be blooming in spring and I don't have to wait for the sprouty period or replant the seeds. I have never had flowers besides roses and tulips survive through winter before so I'm excited.
I will also be planting more flowers in April once there is no chance of frosting anymore.
Yay...I'll update you. Here's a picture of the pansies (no flowers yet of course!)Dotted With Artshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08861752966835166377noreply@blogger.com0
